Department: Human Resources Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

LionHeart Academy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our growing Human Resources Department. This role is key to ensuring the smooth execution of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, record-keeping, benefits support, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and committed to maintaining confidentiality while fostering a positive work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding Support:

· Draft job descriptions and post vacancies

· Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates

· Screen applications and assist in initial assessments

· Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding paperwork

Employee Records and Compliance:

· Maintain up-to-date and confidential employee files

· Track contracts, evaluations, and leave records

· Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies

· Assist in preparing contracts and HR documentation

 Benefits Administration Support:

· Support enrollment in health, retirement, and school-based benefits

· Address basic benefit and payroll inquiries

· Liaise with benefit providers to resolve issues

 Employee Relations and Communication:

· Provide first-line support for HR-related questions

· Promote a positive work environment and address concerns professionally

· Monitor and report on staff engagement and morale

 Training and Development Support:

· Coordinate training sessions and staff development programs

· Track professional certifications and training participation

· Prepare materials for workshops and PD events

General HR Administrative Duties:

· Maintain and update HR databases and prepare reports

· Assist with drafting and distributing internal communications

· Support other administrative and project-based HR tasks as needed
