Job Description

Synertech Technology PLC is seeking highly motivated Accountants to join our team. The ideal candidates will  managing daily accounting tasks, ensure accuracy in financial records, and comply with Ethiopian tax and accounting standards. They should be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working independently or within a team

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper filing of financial documents

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations

  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.

  • Assist external auditors during audits and provide necessary information.

  • Ensure timely payment of VAT, income tax, and other statutory obligations.

  • Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with regulations.

  • Manage daily cash flow and bank reconciliations.

  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and financial activities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Requirements

 Required Qualifications:

  • Education: BA Degree in Finance & Accounting or related fields from a recognized university.

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of progressive accounting experience.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Peachtree and Excel.

  • Basic knowledge of E-Tax and Tass training is manadatory.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, Peachtree software and other ERP systems
