Job Description
Tamra for Social Development Organization (TSD) is an indigenous civil society organization that has been implementing community development programs for over 27 years across Oromia, Addis Ababa, Sidama, Central Ethiopia, and South Ethiopia regions. The organization is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidates for the following position:
5. Position: Finance Officer
Job Grade: G3 S1
Location: Sodo Regional/Cluster Office
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Regional Manager
Salary: Negotiable

Role Summary: The Finance Officer will manage financial operations at the regional level, ensuring accurate record-keeping, budget compliance, financial reporting, and adherence to donor and accounting standards. The role supports the financial health and accountability of TSD’s regional activities.
Process and record transactions in line with policies.
Manage petty cash and perform reconciliations.
Support annual budgeting and financial forecasting.
Prepare donor reports and ensure financial compliance.
Contribute to financial analysis and planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
BA/MSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
4/2 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in IFRS, Peachtree, and IPSAS.
Strong budgeting, reporting, and analytical skills.
Fluency in English, Amharic, and Wolaytegna is required.
Experience in the Wolayta Zone is highly desirable.
