Job Description

Marketing managers carry out the implementation of efforts related to the marketing operations in a company. They develop marketing strategies and plans by detailing cost and resources needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans

  • Identify target audiences and create campaigns tailored to different market segments.

  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies.

  • Develop and oversee paid advertising strategies (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.).

Social Media & Content Marketing

  • Manage and grow Yimaru Academy’s presence on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter/X.

  • Create engaging social media content including videos, graphics, reels, and posts.

  • Work closely with the media team to ensure high-quality content production.

  • Schedule and publish content based on a content calendar for consistent brand visibility.

  • Engage with followers, respond to messages/comments, and build community engagement.

Lead Generation & Conversion Optimization

  • Develop and execute lead generation campaigns to attract potential students.

  • Implement email marketing strategies for student engagement and retention.

  • Optimize Yimaru’s website and social media platforms for SEO and conversions.

  • Track and improve website traffic, engagement rates, and conversion metrics.

Branding & Communication

  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.

  • Develop promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and banners.

  • Write and edit marketing copy for ads, website content, blog posts, and press releases.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging with Yimaru Academy’s mission.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.) to track campaign performance.

  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on key marketing metrics.

  • Continuously optimize marketing strategies based on data-driven insights.

  • Conduct A/B testing for ad creatives and landing pages to improve effectiveness.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • Experience: At least 2+ years of experience in digital marketing and social media management.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of SEO, paid ads, content marketing, and lead generation.

  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing tools (preferred).

  • Proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and A/B testing methodologies.

  • Knowledge of CRM and email marketing tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and deliver results under deadlines.

  • Creativity and problem-solving skills.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certification.

  • PMP, Six Sigma, or other project management certifications.
