We need a translator from the Chinese language to Amharic and English. The ideal candidate will ensure the original meaning, tone, and context are preserved while adapting translations for cultural relevance.

Salary: 30000

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Translate a variety of documents (e.g., technical manuals, marketing materials, legal papers, emails, websites) from Chinese to Amharic and English and vice versa.

• Provide real-time interpretation for meetings, phone calls, or video conferences, if needed.

• Proofread and edit translations for accuracy, grammar, and clarity.

• Ensure cultural nuances are maintained in all translations.

• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, legal, HR) to understand context and requirements.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese and Amharic and English

• Expereince: 0 - 5 years of working expereince

• Familiarity with industry-specific terminology (e.g., legal, medical, technical) is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality translation.
