What was started as a simple trading business entity in 2005, Horra Trading has made it possible to create diversified businesses under Horra Corporate Group. Currently, Horra Corporate Group business portfolio includes coffee and oil seeds export, coffee plantation, automotive assembly, import and distribution, propylene technology manufacturing, technology, real estate development and transit and forwarding. Currently, Horra Corporate Group is led by the CEO, Mr. Adm Kedir, and by qualified and experienced professionals, with 550 permanent staff members and 800 temporary workers working in the corporate office and in different business units.
Horra is currently looking for a talent who is ready to share our dreams and be on the same boat to navigate throughout the dynamic business world with promising a glowing opportunity to craft a desirable career map for talents. We are currently looking for a General Manager who will lead one of the corporate key subsidiary company, Horra Anderacha.
Purpose of the Job:
The General Manager is expected to play a vital role in Horra Anderacha through providing strategic leadership and overseeing all operations of a vertically integrated coffee farming and exporting company.
Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company’s long-term goals.
Lead organizational development and change initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
Oversee all farm operations including planting, harvesting, pest control, and sustainability practices.
Optimize the supply chain to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of export contracts.
Oversee marketing efforts and brand positioning in both domestic and international markets.
Track market trends and identify new business opportunities for growth and diversification.
Foster an organizational culture which champions accountability, professionalism and team work.
Job Qualification
Education Qualification: MSc in Agricultural Economics, Agriculture, Plant Science, or related fields
Work Experience: At least 10 (ten) years of working experience in an executive or senior managerial position in a similar industry.
Skills
Extensive experience in supply chain management, exports, and international trade.
Proven track record of managerial experience in a coffee farming and exporting institution.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to identify and resolve problems.
Fluency in Amharic and English, written and verbal is mandatory
