Job Description
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, cleanliness, and store presentation.
Ensure stock levels are adequately managed, including inventory control and reordering of merchandise.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and store policies, providing a safe environment for both employees and customers.
Drive sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Monitor store performance and adjust strategies as necessary to meet business objectives.
Analyze sales trends and customer behaviors to develop and implement sales initiatives.
Create an engaging shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty and repeat business.
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of retail associates, ensuring they are trained, engaged, and empowered to deliver exceptional customer service.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and create development plans for team members.
Handle staffing schedules, recruitment, and employee relations, ensuring optimal staffing levels at all times.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance the in-store experience.
Promote and implement loyalty programs and other promotional activities to build customer retention.
Monitor and manage the store’s budget, ensuring the cost of operations (labor, inventory, etc.) is within set guidelines.
Review financial reports, sales data, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track store performance.
Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality and customer experience.
Coordinate in-store promotions, marketing campaigns, and product launches.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment between brand strategies and retail activities.
Implement seasonal sales strategies and promotional displays to boost foot traffic and sales.
Provide regular reports on sales performance, staffing, customer feedback, and inventory levels to upper management.
Track competitor activity and industry trends to remain competitive in the market
Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Business Administration, Management, Marketing Management Retail Management, or related field .4-8 years of experience in retail management or a similar leadership role in the retail sector.
Strong understanding of retail operations, sales strategies, and customer service excellence.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team to meet performance goals.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using retail management systems.
Experience in specific retail industry, electronics, Mobile Manufacturing & Sales or FMCG.
Knowledge of visual merchandising and store layout best practices.
Experience managing multi-location retail operations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and handle challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
