Job Description
As Procurement Officer, you play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services necessary for business operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Identifying and researching suppliers to find the best deals.
Negotiating terms such as price, quality, deadlines, and expectations.
Liaising with suppliers and project managers to keep everyone informed about updates and details.
Creating and managing purchase orders to align with supply requests.
Analyzing invoices to verify the accuracy of delivered goods.
Monitoring inventory to maintain a positive flow of goods.
Ensuring timely delivery and satisfactory quality of products.
Evaluating vendor performance to make informed decisions about future purchases.
Managing contractual obligations to benefit the company.
Collaborating with the site team to understand procurement needs.
Preparing reports on purchases, including cost analysis.
Monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed.
Coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
Job Requirements
A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in orders and invoices.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Fluently in English
