Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, manages, coordinates & directs the company’s industrial operations of the company throughout the country.

• Initiates the need for and designs framework of relevant industrial policies, strategies, and guidelines after approval from the company’s top management.

• Oversees and ensures core operational functions such as production, technique and quality inspection in the Kokeb Industries.

• Provides technical specifications for the purchase of raw materials, machinery, and spares as well as participates in the purchasing decisions. 

• Ensures the planning, assignment, and proper utilization of the relevant operational resources & services (personnel, material, equipment, etc.) on all work units. 

• Ensures that operational policies, guidelines and procedures are strictly adhered at all industries.

• Ensures that the Company’s Industrial operational targets are met.

• Draws up the quarterly and monthly production plan & program (schedule, quantity, & types) with inputs from the Marketing & sales director regarding customer order or sales plan/forecast. 

• Oversees & ensures the production operations are smooth & up to the schedule. 

• Ensures that product delivery continuously meets the customer schedule and quality requirements.

• Monitors the production performance of all industrial units of the company in terms of productivity, efficiency, quality, etc. 

• Ensures the smooth back ward and forward integrations of the industrial units with marketing and mining departments. 

• Oversees the installation of modern and efficient production systems in all industrial units of the company.

• Follows up the proper inspection, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical system in all industrial units of the company.

• Ensures safety in industrial units of the company by implementing safety policies & procedures of the company.

• Develops strategies for reducing maintenance costs, production costs & other related costs in collaboration with responsible bodies.

• Ensures the maintenance materials & spare parts are procured as per technical specifications & available when required by the industrial units.

• Generates periodic reports about its performance and presents to the DMD for Business Operations.

  Performs other duties as assigned by the DMD for Business Operations.

Job Requirements

• BSC Degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Chemical engineering and other related fields

• 10 years relevant experience
