As part of our strategic expansion, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager to lead and enhance our Human Resources department.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function and support the continued growth of a fast-paced technology company based in Addis Ababa. The ideal candidate will oversee the full spectrum of HR operations—including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, policy development, and strategic workforce planning. This role requires a strong leader with a solid understanding of Ethiopian labor laws, proven experience in team development, and the ability to align HR strategies with organizational goals in a rapidly evolving environment.
Lead end-to-end talent acquisition, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring the selection of high-performing and culturally aligned candidates.
Design and implement performance management systems, including KPIs, OKRs, and improvement plans.
Establish and promote a strong CFR (Conversations, Feedback, Recognition) culture to boost employee engagement and accountability.
Manage and continuously improve core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training & development, and retention.
Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with local labor laws and best practices.
Collaborate with executive leadership to align HR strategies with company goals and growth plans.
Analyze workforce data to support decision-making in talent planning, compensation, and organizational structure.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture throughout the company.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Management, Leadership or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Proven experience in performance management, recruitment, and team development.
Strong understanding of Ethiopian labor laws and HR compliance practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in implementing modern HR tools and systems.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a strategic mindset.
