Main Duties and Responsibilities 

• Create detailed engineering designs, including structural, mechanical, and electrical layouts, based on project requirements. 

• Use CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) to develop 2D and 3D models and technical drawings. 

• Comply designs with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. 

• Conduct structural, mechanical, and electrical analysis to assess the feasibility of designs. 

• Identify potential design challenges and propose innovative solutions to address them. 

• Perform value engineering exercises and optimize designs for cost-effectiveness. 

• Ensure designs comply with local, national, and international engineering standards and regulations. 

• Assist in performing quality checks on designs and ensure accuracy and adherence to project scope. 

• Participate in site inspections and supervise that construction work aligns with the approved designs. 

• Provide technical support during the construction phase, including addressing design-related queries. 

• Modify designs as necessary to accommodate site conditions or unforeseen challenges during construction. 

• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, calculations, and construction drawings. 

• Review and approve construction drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements. 

• Participate in design coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience

• Master’s degree in, Architectural Engineering,  or related fields of study with a minimum of four (4)years of demonstrated experience 

OR

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural  Engineering  or related fields of study with a minimum of six (6) years of demonstrated experience.
