Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research on various topics, including corporate law, contract law, regulatory compliance, and other relevant areas. 

• Analyze and interpret laws, regulations, and case law and provide legal opinions and advice to internal stakeholders. 

• Draft, review, and revise a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, policies, and memoranda. 

• Make all legal documents comply with applicable laws and regulations, and that they protect the company’s interests. 

• Provide guidance on the interpretation of contractual terms and conditions, and assist in resolving contractual disputes. 

• Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s compliance programs, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. 

• Identify potential legal risks related to the company’s operations, products, and services, and propose mitigation strategies. 

• Support internal audits and investigations related to legal compliance, providing necessary documentation and analysis. 

• Assist in litigation matters including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and coordinating with external legal firms. 

• Prepare legal briefs, motions, and other litigation documents, and assist in the preparation of legal arguments for court proceedings. 

• Provide regular updates to the Legal Director or senior management on the status of ongoing litigation and potential legal risks. 

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of corporate records, including board resolutions, meeting minutes, and shareholder agreements. 

• Support contract negotiations by providing legal advice and drafting key contractual clauses. 

• Conduct training sessions for employees on legal and compliance topics, such as contract management, data protection, and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience

• Master’s degree in law with a minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated  experience

OR

• Bachelor’s degree in law with a minimum of six (6) years of demonstrated  experience.
