Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the planning and coordination of plant and equipment maintenance schedules to ensure optimal operational efficiency.

  • Assists in managing equipment inventory, usage logs, and maintenance records for compliance and performance tracking.

  • Oversees routine inspections, identifies maintenance needs, and follows up on repair and servicing activities.

  • Helps enforce safety standards, manage spare parts procurement, and support cost control related to equipment operations

Technical Competency: Assists in strategic

management of plant and equipment operations, ensuring alignment with overall project goals, High- level knowledge in managing equipment lifecycle, including procurement, maintenance, and disposal. Ability to oversee repairs and complex technical issues. KPI: Equipment uptime, maintenance cost reduction, resource allocation, Implementation of maintenance plans, support in decision-making, and operational continuity. Training Needs: Advanced machinery diagnostics, maintenance scheduling, strategic resource management, Leadership in maintenance, asset management, and planning systems. General Leadership Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and team management

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is a

  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple complex projects

  • Ethics & Discipline, Integrity, Sense of ownership, Effective meeting facilitation skills, Time management

  • Availability when needed, Ability to dedicate full time to work

  • Foundational knowledge required for project implementation (in finance, procurement, operations — ability to understand and apply these areas)
