DROGA PHARMA PLC is an import, distributor, and commission agent for pharmaceuticals and healthcare products in the territory of Ethiopia. 

Our Company was established in April 2015 with two staff. Currently, we have a total of 400+ Employee with different professional background and work Experience. And now Droga Pharma PLC as a business unit, establishing a chain of pharmacies all over Ethiopia.

Droga pharma PLC having a strong local presence on the Ethiopian Pharmaceuticals market has established a partnership with Bio  pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of efficient supply chain strategies.

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials and products to meet customer demands

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal departments

• Manage and optimize transportation and distribution networks to minimize costs and maximize customer satisfaction

• Update selling price of existing stocks to the current market price in the case of increase in market price.   Update, Monitor and control selling price within the different item categories ensuring all products are sold by already approved markup margin.   

• Analyse data and metrics to forecast demand and implement corrective actions to enhance supply chain performance.

• Continuously look out for possible stock transfer that can substantially minimize holding cost and increase customer satisfaction. Initiate inter branch transfer & approve inter-pharmacy transfers

• Create purchase order and payment requests and make sure all entry to the system are correct in terms of unit, code, and payment modalities. 

• Weekly produce aggregated stock out report as per the company procedure 

• Post new arrival and distribution schedules to the branch managers.

• Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships

• Minimize stock shortages by establishing both periodic and sudden physical inventory system. Coordinate and lead physical inventory

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to supply chain operations.

• Undertake all activities assigned to him/her by his/her immediate supervisor

Job Requirements

• BSC Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university

• Minimum 1 year and above experience
