Job Description
The Medical Director is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations and medical staff of a healthcare organization. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining regulatory compliance and aligning with the organization’s strategic goals. The Medical Director acts as a bridge between administration and clinical staff, promoting collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Salary: Negotiable.
Workplace: Jimma Town. Oromia.
Duties and Responsibilites:
Provide guidance and leadership to physicians and clinical teams.
Set standards for medical practice and ensure evidence-based care.
Collaborate with administrative leadership on resource planning, budgeting, and strategy.
Develop and implement clinical protocols and procedures.
Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate medical staff.
Resolve conflicts and promote teamwork among healthcare providers.
Monitor patient outcomes and satisfaction to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure patient safety and ethical medical practices.
Job Requirements:
Education: Doctor of Medicine profession with Internist or G/Surgeon or Pediatrician or Gynecologist Specialty
Experience: Minimum of 2 years and above work experience in the field. (Work clearance & professional license is mandatory.)
Language: speaking Afaan Oromoo is a plus.
