Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers.

  2. Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations.

  3. Deploy a wide variety of training methods for the successful accomplishment of training programs. 

  4. Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them. 

  5. Prepare training need analysis for all companies, prepare budget and manage training budgets as per approved limit. 

  6. Provide opportunities for ongoing development of employees. 

  7. Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary. 

  8. Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, best practices and apply accordingly at all level. 

  9. Develop and implement performance management systems and processes to measure, report, and improve employee performance.

  10. Facilitate goal-setting sessions between employees and their managers to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

  11. Design and deliver training programs for managers on how to provide effective feedback and conduct performance reviews.

  12. Analyze performance data to identify trends, forecast future performance issues, and recommend solutions.

  13. Manage the performance improvement plan (PIP) process for underperforming employees, including documentation and follow-up.

  14. Oversee the administration of employee recognition programs to motivate and reward outstanding performance.

  15. Conduct post-implementation reviews of performance management initiatives to assess their impact and effectiveness, and make adjustments as necessary.

  16. Leading on the performance manager tools and updating progress within the Performance section. 

  17. Ensuring strong day-to-day task delegation of tasks to effectively manage workloads and pressures. 

  18. Fostering a culture of results, innovation, and quality assurance within the company. 

  19. Leading on representing the brand’s values, culture, approach, and dedication to internal training. 

Job Requirements

Required Qualification:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, law or a related field.

  • A Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related discipline is an advantage.

  • Professional certifications is an advantageous.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Training and Development, Performance Management and related field.

  • Strong background in assessment of training needs, providing training programs, and developing performance management system.

Competence Requirement; 

  • Proven work experience as a Training and Performance Manager.

  • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs.

  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc). 

  • Understanding of various types of performance management system.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
