Job Summary

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Trade Specialist to support the trading activities within the Oil Seeds & Pulses division. The role is pivotal in conducting market research, managing trade documentation, and maintaining effective communication with international buyers and regulatory bodies. The ideal candidate will contribute to smooth export operations and support commercial growth by ensuring compliance and timely coordination\

Key Responsibilites:

Market Monitoring & Research

  • Monitor and analyze market prices, demand trends, and trade policies impacting oil seeds and pulses.

  • Provide timely updates and insights to support strategic decision-making.

Trade Compliance & Documentation

  • Coordinate export documentation in compliance with relevant trade laws and regulations.

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of shipping and customs paperwork.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Manage relationships and communications with international buyers, government agencies, and regulatory bodies.

  • Serve as a liaison to facilitate smooth trade transactions and compliance.

Contract & Shipment Support

  • Assist in negotiation and administration of trade contracts.

  • Conduct post-shipment follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues.

Logistics Coordination

  • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to support shipment scheduling and tracking.

Job Requirements

Candidate Profile
Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or related disciplines.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in trade operations, export coordination, or related roles.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and export documentation procedures.

  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work collaboratively in a team environment.
