Location Juba South Sudan 

 The Draftsman at GS Construction will play a key role in creating precise technical drawings and plans to support construction and engineering projects. This position requires proficiency in drafting software, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to meeting local regulations and company standards. The Draftsman will contribute to project planning, design implementation, and documentation management to ensure project success.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed and accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.

• Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand and incorporate project specifications into designs.

• Develop comprehensive drawings for architectural, electrical, electromechanical, mechanical, and structural installations.

• Prepare Bills of Quantity (BoQ) based on project designs and provide supporting documentation.

• Update and revise drawings as per feedback from engineers, architects, or project managers.

• Ensure all technical drawings meet local building regulations, industry standards, and project-specific guidelines.

• Support project planning activities using tools like MS Project.

• Leverage structural analysis software, such as ETABS, when required, to enhance drafting accuracy.

• Organize and maintain records of drawings, plans, and revisions for reference and audit purposes.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Diploma or degree in drafting, architecture, engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in drafting for construction, engineering, or related projects is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting tools is mandatory.

• Familiarity with structural analysis software like ETABS is a strong advantage.

• Experience with project planning tools such as MS Project is beneficial.

• Thorough understanding of local building codes and regulations.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure precision in technical drawings.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project requirements.
