An Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Officer plays a vital role in managing and supporting an organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of systems and providing technical assistance to users. • User Support and Training: Provide technical support and assistance to users, troubleshoot issues, and offer training to ensure efficient use of ICT resources. 

• ICT Policy Development: Develop and implement ICT policies that promote efficient use of resources and ensure data security and integrity. 

• Project Management: Manage ICT projects from inception to completion, including defining objectives, designing plans, allocating resources, and overseeing project teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery. 

• Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect computer systems from viruses and unauthorized access, and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices. 

Job Requirements

• Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is typically required. 

• Experience: Proven work experience in IT support or a similar role is often necessary, with a minimum of 3 years preferred. 

• Certifications: Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) can be advantageous.

 Essential Skills

• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications. 

• Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
