Job Description
Ensure the organization operates effectively by procuring permanent and non-permanent goods in the required type, quality, and quantity. Establish and maintain a complete procurement and supply management system.
Specific Duties
Prepare domestic procurement plans.
Develop domestic procurement policies, monitor their implementation upon approval, and ensure compliance.
Monitor adherence to rules and procedures for receiving goods and processing treasury disbursements.
Ensure purchase requisition forms are submitted prior to any purchase and validate their appropriateness.
Conduct regular market studies on price and quality, and report findings to the supervisor.
Analyze supplier information and submit evaluations to the supervisor.
Review detailed specifications of goods to be procured.
Ensure adequate quotations are collected in line with procurement guidelines and discuss findings with the supervisor and team.
Ensure all formalities are completed after purchase and goods are properly handed over to the treasury.
Submit advance payment requests to the Finance Department and verify delivery and receipt documentation.
Provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
Prepare and submit reports detailing completed tasks, challenges encountered, and corrective actions taken.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Diploma (10+3) in Procurement and Supply Management, Accounting, or Management.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
