Job Description

The IT Support expert is responsible for delivering technical assistance and support to all users across the organization. This role involves diagnosing hardware and software issues, resolving technical problems, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations. The incumbent will also assist with system upgrades, user training, and the implementation of IT policies to enhance overall system functionality and security.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that PCs and laptops are Up to Date as per the IT policy of the company,

  • Ensures that the necessary applications required by users are installed and working as expected, 

  • Ensures that printers for users are configured and working as required i.e., both local and network printers.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user hardware, operating system, and software related problems from the Service Desk, where possible.

  • Repair or replace faulty components of a computer components and network system,

  • Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

Qualification

  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or MIS or ICT or Computer Application or Database Administration or Computer Science or Information System or Information science or Information data Science and Analytics or ICT Service Management or Cloud Computing or related field of studies.

Experience 

  • 2 years for BSc

  • 0 years for MSc 

Skills 

  • Problem-solving & Troubleshooting skills

  • Communication skills.
