Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager who will lead and structure our sales operations, plan and execute marketing strategies, identify new business opportunities, and grow revenue. The ideal candidate is results-driven, presentable, strategic, and capable of managing teams and driving business growth in the competitive furniture industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet monthly and annual targets
Forecast sales performance and set achievable goals for the team
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust strategy as needed•
Team Management
Lead, train, and supervise the sales team to ensure top performance
Set performance standards and evaluate team members regularly
Build a high-performing sales culture focused on results and customer satisfaction
Marketing & Promotion
Collaborate with the marketing team to plan promotional campaigns
Assist in content development for social media and offline marketing
Represent the company at expos, exhibitions, and client meetings
Business Development
Identify new client segments and partnership opportunities
Build and maintain relationships with key corporate and retail clients
Prepare and present sales pitches to potential customers
Customer Experience
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
Handle escalated client complaints and resolve issues professionally
Maintain showroom standards and client-facing professionalism
Job Requirements
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, or related field
3–5 years of proven experience as a Sales Manager, preferably in retail or furniture sector
Strong knowledge of marketing principles and business development practices
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Presentable and professional with strong negotiation and networking abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM systems is a plus
Fluent in Amharic and English
