Position Summary
TradeEthiopia is seeking a dynamic and results-driven HR and Operational Manager to lead and oversee human resources and operational functions across all business units. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing HR strategies and ensuring efficient organizational operations that align with the company’s growth objectives.
Human Resources Management
Develop, implement, and manage HR strategies, policies, and procedures.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and development initiatives.
Oversee performance management, employee engagement, and wellness programs.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
Manage payroll, benefits administration, and employment contracts.
Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters professionally.
Maintain accurate HR records and systems for tracking attendance, performance, and payroll.
Operational Management
Supervise day-to-day office operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
Optimize workflows, resource allocation, and logistics.
Monitor and report on KPIs and operational metrics.
Lead office space planning, equipment procurement, and vendor management.
Collaborate with senior management to align HR and operational strategies with business goals.

Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field
0–2 years of relevant work experience (internships or volunteer experience acceptable).
Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws and HR best practices.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and operational reporting tools.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proactive, adaptable, and highly organized.
