Job Description
The Senior Officer for Project Study will lead the evaluation and analysis of projects within Wagwago trading PLC. This role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects align with corporate strategies and achieve optimal outcomes.
Reports To: Project Manager
Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies and risk assessments for potential projects.
Prepare and present detailed project reports and proposals to senior management and stakeholders.
Analyze market trends and economic data to guide project planning and execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze relevant data.
Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather stakeholder requirements and feedback.
Assist in the development of business cases and funding applications.
Mentor junior staff in project management practices and methodologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 6/8 years of experience in project management in consultancy firms, corporate companies within corporate settings.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
Ability to work effectively in team environments and across departments.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Attributes:
Results-driven with a proactive approach to project management.
Capable of managing multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel for project assessments and stakeholder engagement.
