We are now hiring a dynamic and committed Deputy Principal to support the School Principal in delivering our mission and leading our academic team with excellence.
Job Title: Deputy Principal
Location: Assosa, Ethiopia
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Reports To: School Principal
Supervises: Assigned teaching and support staff
Duties & Responsibilities:
Support the Principal in overall school administration and daily operations
Lead academic planning, including lesson supervision, assessment practices, and instructional improvement
Manage student discipline, attendance, and well-being programs
Coordinate extracurricular and student enrichment programs
Act on behalf of the Principal when necessary
Support professional development and coaching of teachers
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
Minimum 6 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in an academic leadership role
Strong understanding of modern teaching practices and school leadership
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Fluent in English; Amharic proficiency is an asset
Confident with digital tools and school information systems
