Pharo Foundation is launching a new, high-quality school in Assosa, and we are looking for a dedicated Librarian to manage the school’s learning resource center and foster a strong reading culture among students and staff. 

📍 Position Details 

• Location: Assosa, Ethiopia 

• Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily library operations: book lending, cataloging, and inventory 

• Support students and teachers in accessing research and reading materials 

• Promote literacy through reading programs and library activities 

• Maintain digital and physical library systems

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Library and Information Science or related field 

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a school or public library 

• Proficiency in English  

• Strong organizational and computer literacy skills
