We are seeking a licensed and compassionate Optometrist to join our eye care team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and treat visual problems and eye diseases, and help patients achieve optimal eye health through corrective lenses, medications, or referrals when necessary.

Duties and Responsibilites:

• Conduct comprehensive eye and vision examinations

• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration

• Prescribe corrective lenses (glasses or contact lenses) and vision therapy

• Educate patients on eye health, vision care, and preventive measures

• Maintain accurate patient records and document examination results

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when referrals or specialized treatment are needed

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Optometry or in a related field of study

• Experience: 1 - 5 years of expereince

• Language: Speaking Afaan Oromoo is a plus.

Required Skills:

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of ocular pharmacology

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail and high level of professionalism

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
