The Technical and Electrical Works Technician is responsible for carrying out electrical installations, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance, as well as performing general technical support duties related to mechanical, plumbing, or infrastructure systems. The role ensures the safety, functionality, and efficiency of all technical and electrical systems on-site.

Specific responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting, power systems, and equipment.

• Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform corrective maintenance.

• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and codes.

• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and update maintenance records.

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and general facility equipment.

• Support the setup and maintenance of technical infrastructure such as control panels, motors, switches, and sensors.

• Perform minor civil maintenance tasks as needed (e.g., painting, fixture installation, etc.).

• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on all technical systems.

• Identify potential issues early and take corrective actions to prevent equipment failure.

• Maintain logs of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

• Report unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.

• Follow safety protocols when handling tools, equipment, and live circuits.

• Ensure compliance with national electrical codes and internal company standards.

• Assist in equipment upgrades, installations, and technical projects.

• Provide support during power outages, system failures, or emergency repairs.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar technical and electrical maintenance role.
