ABYS Trading PLC is the leading Manufacturing of agriculture products for local and export market. It has been active since 2011 and exports over 40 high quality value added agricultural products which meet world relevant standards to three main destination countries such as America, Canada and Australia and other locations. Moreover, it distributed such products to local market. It has 606 staff basing Addis Ababa (HQ), Sululta (Sheger city).
ABYS Trading PLC. Is highly competitive, and finding talented Retail Sales Representative is crucial for the success of business. So many responsibilities and skill requirements, it can be challenging to create an effective job description that encompasses all the necessary aspects of the role.
Salesman Key Responsibilities:
Greet and direct customers
Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
Cross-sell products
Ensure racks are fully stocked
Manage returns of merchandise
Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
Inform customers about discounts and special offers
Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
Stay up-to-date with new products/services
Job Requirements
Requirements and skills
Understanding of the retail sales process
Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
Basic math skills
Track record of achieving sales quotas
Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
Flexibility to work various shifts
High school degree
BSc in Marketing or related field is a plus
Proven experience in a retail or sales-related role is preferred.
Familiarity with products in the retail industry is a plus.
Proficiency in using cash registers and handling cash transactions.
Ability to work effectively in a target-driven environment.
Knowledge of sales techniques and customer service principles.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs.
Must be legally eligible to work in
