We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and coordination, ensuring efficient execution of projects within budget and timeline constraints. The Planning Engineer will work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to optimize project workflows and mitigate risks..
Job Title: Planning Engineer
Location: Juba, South Sudan
Experience Required: 10+ years
Industry: Industry – Construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
Coordinate with project managers and teams to ensure alignment of project objectives.
Identify and manage project risks, proposing solutions to mitigate delays.
Track and analyze project progress, adjusting schedules as required.
Estimate costs and resources required for project execution.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Provide technical support and advice to the project team.
Generate project reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to negotiate costs and schedules.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other scheduling tools.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
Preferred Certifications:
PMP (Project Management Professional)
PRINCE2
Six Sigma Certification
