Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration system.

• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues.

• Diagnosing and repairing HVAC system faults, replacing parts, and ensuring system are working correctly.

• Implementing preventive maintenance program to ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

• Understanding of basic electrical concept, circuit, and system,

• Knowledge of mechanical components, system and their interaction with electrical components.

• Ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve problems in electromechanical system.

• Reports to Heat, Light and Power or repairs and maintenance Engineer.

• Interacts – cooperates with others in the Engineering Department.

• Interacts – cooperates with hotel guests / outside contractors as directed.

• Interacts with other departments when necessary to provide additional or specialized services for functions, promotions and festivities

• Attends to modifications / additions to the present system and installation of new system as required.

• Participates in Hotel energy conservation Program.

• Ensures that the plant room, workshop and related areas are kept clean and tidy condition.

• Attends to all types of repair and maintenance work in the hotel premises including any new additional/ extensions to the hotel or any other properties maintained by the hotel.

• Complies with hotel’s Health, safety & Hygiene policy.

• Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Education: From accredited academic institution first degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field of study

• Work Experience and required skills: Two years of work experience in operation and maintenance of HVAC system or 6 years of work experience in operating and maintenance in hotel industry.
