Job Description
The purpose of the job is to lead and oversee all electrical maintenance operations within the glass factory to ensure system reliability, safety, and efficiency. The role involves supervising maintenance activities, troubleshooting electrical issues, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. The supervisor ensures strict compliance with safety regulations, manages inventory and resource allocation, and fosters collaboration with coworkers and subordinates to enhance operational effectiveness.
Job Requirements
Required Knowledge and skills (Competence)
Education
Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) or TVET Level Certification in Electrical Engineering
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within a glass factory.
Skills
Strong technical expertise in electrical systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Excellent communication skills for reporting, coordinating with teams, and training staff.
Leadership abilities to effectively manage and guide the electrical maintenance team.
Problem-solving skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in industrial environments
