Job Description
Facilitate patient registration and evaluation at the OPD.
Make sure that there is a smooth flow of patients from reception to nurse station and doctors.
Explain and counsel about every procedure to the patient and make them comfortable in every step of examination.
Assist in patient communication addressing their concerns during their whole stay in the clinic.
Properly record the medical history of the patient on the medical chart.
Invariably patients who need your assistance; for example, patients who are blind, have severe visual impairment, and are physically weak, etc.
Carry out all responsibilities as per the Nurse Procedure manual of the clinic and the health standards of the Ministry of Health.
Make sure that the operation room is cleaned and prepared on time for surgery and that the necessary toilet supplies soap and tissue paper are provided.
Worked as scrub nurse and circular/runner nurse in the OR.
Make sure all sterilized surgical equipment and supplies are ready for surgery.
Make sure adequate stock for all types of surgery is updated and communicated.
Carry out all responsibilities as per the Nurse procedure manual and the clinic health standards of the Ministry of Health.
Level 4 in Nursing or in a related field of study
