About the Job

Position: Junior Engineer 
Location: Addis Ababa, Urael
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day site supervision

• Ensuring quality control and construction safety

• Managing labor and checking progress

• Preparing site reports and daily logs

• Verifying and approving subcontractor work

• Raising site queries (RFI) when drawings are unclear

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Minimum: B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology

• Preferred: Licensed by Ethiopian Engineering Council (EEC) or equivalent

Work Experience

• Minimum of 3 years and above direct work experience at a construction site

• Preferred: 2+ years, especially on complex building projects.

Technical Skills

• Read and interpret structural & architectural drawings

• Perform site setting out using levels and total station.

• Coordinate with the foreman and structural engineer for approvals

• Software Knowledge

• AutoCAD (mandatory)

• Microsoft Excel (for reports and BBS)

• Project scheduling tools (MS Project or basic knowledge)

Requirement Skill

• Microsoft Office Pack: Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Outlook, PowerPoint

• Communication

• Attention to detail
