Job Summary
To oversee all aspects of an organization’s accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity of financial data. This Role is pivotal in financial reporting, strategic planning, internal controls, and team leadership within the finance department.
Prepare monthly financial accounting report.
Set performance goal and conduct reviews and manage coworkers.
Prepare payroll for project staffs and provide relevant data to Finance Manager.
Coordinate the processing of financial documentation (vouchers, supporting document .etc
Manage bank transfers and prepare cash flow statements.
Recording and verifying transactions.
Support month-end and year-end close process.
Ensure compliance with IFRS principles.
Monitor performance against budgets /forecasts and analyze Variances.
Supervising accounting staff.
Collect bank statements and perform bank reconciliations
Knowing basic tax rule and regulation
Knowing the accounting software (Peachtree and computer plication).
Finance Reporting and control.
Implement and Maintain accounting software /system (Like ERP system)
Qualification and Experience
BA degree in Accounting
5 years of minimum experience with related field.
Expense of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
Solid budget management experience
Strong financial analytical skills.
Strong communication skill of Amharic and English language.
