Job Description
The Key Account Manager at Niyat Consultancy PLC is responsible for building and nurturing long-term, strategic relationships with high-value clients. This role ensures client satisfaction, retention, and account growth through a deep understanding of client needs, business development strategy, and consultative service delivery. The Key Account Manager acts as a trusted advisor, offering tailored solutions that align with the client's business objectives and Niyat Consultancy’s service offerings.
Develop and manage long-term, trusted relationships with key clients to ensure ongoing engagement and business growth.
Understand client goals, challenges, and industry trends to offer proactive, consultative solutions.
Serve as the primary liaison between key clients and internal teams, ensuring timely and quality service delivery.
Plan and implement account strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within key accounts.
Negotiate and finalize contracts, proposals, and service agreements with clients.
Resolve client issues and concerns quickly and effectively to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Track and report on account performance metrics such as revenue, retention, client satisfaction, and profitability.
Conduct regular business reviews with clients and present performance insights and value-added recommendations.
Stay current with market trends, competitors, and regulatory developments relevant to client industries.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field (minimum 7 years of experience required).
Master’s degree in the above or related disciplines (minimum 5 years of experience required).
Professional Certification (optional but advantageous):
Certifications in Account Management, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), or Sales Strategy.
Required Experience
Proven experience managing corporate or institutional clients, preferably in the consultancy, B2B services, or professional services sectors.
Demonstrated success in achieving client retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth goals.
Experience leading contract negotiations and developing account plans.
Experience coordinating with internal cross-functional teams to meet client needs.
Key Competencies and Skills
Strategic account planning and client relationship management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Amharic.
Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict resolution skills.
High-level presentation and reporting skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
