Position: Supervisor - Environmental, Health & Safety

The purpose of the job is to oversee and ensure the successful implementation of environmental, health, and safety protocols within the glass manufacturing facility. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, mitigates workplace hazards, and promotes a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. The EHS Supervisor will lead safety training initiatives, conduct inspections, and enforce EHS policies across all departments to safeguard employees and optimize workplace conditions.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree (BSc) or TVET Level Certification in Occupational Health & Safety, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

• Additional EHS management certifications (e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001, NEBOSH), Specific training in glass production safety procedures, including high-temperature environments and machinery safety.

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in glass manufacturing, industrial safety, environmental management, and risk assessment.

• Proven track record of compliance with local/regional EHS laws and successful implementation of safety protocols in manufacturing environments.

• Skills

- In-depth knowledge of workplace safety regulations and environmental laws.

- Strong risk assessment and hazard identification abilities.

- Expertise in emergency response and crisis management strategies.

- Proficiency in EHS management software and safety documentation tools.

- Ability to design and conduct employee training programs and safety drills.

- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
