Ensure a high percentage of purchase orders are processed accurately, minimizing errors and discrepancies to maintain smooth operations.
Contract draft preparation: it typically includes details such as the parities involved the scope of the work or service payments terms, timelines termination clauses and other relevant provisions
Manage procurement operations efficiently using SAP for purchase requisitions, orders, and supplier management.
Conduct supplier evaluations, ensuring adherence to quality and delivery standards.
Drive cost-saving initiatives through effective negotiations, bulk purchasing, and strategic sourcing, while adhering to budget constraints and quality standards.
Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms and manage procurement contracts through SAP.
Support the Procurement Manager in developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, SAP workflows, and Ethiopian regulations.
Prepare and present procurement reports using SAP analytics, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Mentor and guide junior procurement staff on SAP processes and procurement best practices.
Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and optimize procurement methods.
Cost savings achieved through strategic procurement and SAP analytics
Procurement efficiency and on-time order completion using SAP.
Accuracy and completeness of procurement data in SAP.
At least 4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the FMCG sector
Proficiency in SAP procurement modules (e.g., MM – Materials Management).
Strong understanding of procurement workflows and data management in SAP.
Problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
