Get-As International Plc. is a dynamic organization engaged in Real estate, Trading and Cross border transport. We are seeking a motivated Coffee quality controller (cupper) to join our dynamic team.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Coffee Quality Controller (Cupper) to ensure the consistent quality of coffee throughout the supply chain—from sourcing and purchasing to production. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of coffee sensory analysis, cupping protocols, and quality standards. This role will work closely with procurement, production, and R&D teams to maintain and enhance product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular cupping sessions to evaluate and score coffee samples based on flavor, aroma, body, acidity, and other sensory characteristics.

• Maintain quality control protocols for green and roasted coffee.

• Collaborate with procurement to select high-quality green coffee beans from suppliers.

• Document and track cupping scores, notes, and quality data using standardized forms or digital tools.

• Identify defects or inconsistencies in coffee lots and recommend corrective actions.

• Assist in the development of blends and profiles in coordination with the roasting team.

• Monitor and evaluate roasted coffee production batches for consistency.

• Ensure adherence to industry standards such as SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) protocols.

• Maintain clean and organized cupping lab and equipment.

• Train internal staff on cupping techniques and coffee quality standards when necessary.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a professional cupper or quality controller in the coffee industry.

• Excellent sensory evaluation and palate sensitivity.

• Strong knowledge of green coffee grading, processing methods, and origin profiles.

• Familiarity with coffee roasting basics and how roasting impacts flavor.

• Attention to detail and good record-keeping skills.
