We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical & ELV Systems Technician to join our team at our Head Office, located in Addis Ababa around Mekanisa Abo. This role is particularly vital as it involves the ongoing electrical and ELV system support for the company's main building, ensuring all systems—including power supply, networking, surveillance, and safety—are running efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in both Power Supply Systems and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) Systems, supported by relevant certifications and hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

I.Power Supply Systems & Electrical Equipment

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems (HV/LV switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, etc.)

• Perform cable laying, electrical wiring, and routine maintenance.

• Repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment, including elevators, HVAC units, and lighting systems.

• Interpret electrical schematics and apply fundamental electrical principles.

• Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety protocols and respond promptly to faults or emergencies.

II. ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) Systems

• Install and maintain structured cabling, network infrastructure, and telephone systems.

• Configure and support security systems such as surveillance cameras, access control, intercoms, and building automation.

• Assist in the maintenance and inspection of fire alarm systems.

Job Requirements

• Mandatory: Electrician certifications in both low-voltage and high-voltage systems.

• 8 -15 years of relevant work experience.

• Solid experience with electrical equipment and power distribution systems.

• Practical knowledge of ELV systems installation and maintenance.

• Certifications in ELV systems (e.g., security systems, intelligent building systems) are a plus.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities, commitment to safety, and ability to work independently and in teams.
