About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and long-term value of a portfolio of residential and commercial properties located in Addis Ababa. This is an exciting opportunity for a

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Property Oversight s Inspection

    • Conduct regular inspections of all residential and commercial buildings to ensure proper maintenance and standards.

    • Identify potential issues early and proactively recommend repairs, upgrades, or preventive measures.

    • Ensure all properties are clean, safe, and compliant with local regulations.

  2. Maintenance s Quality Control

    • Coordinate with contractors, service providers, and maintenance teams.

    • Monitor ongoing maintenance work and ensure high-quality results.

    • Track service performance and maintain property condition logs.

  3. Tenant Relations s Communication

    • Serve as the main point of contact for tenants in all matters related to leasing, maintenance, and general inquiries.

    • Ensure timely resolution of tenant issues while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.

    • Enforce lease agreements and building rules consistently.
       

  4. Financial s Administrative Management

    • Assist with budgeting and forecasting of maintenance and operational expenses.

    • Maintain accurate records of property-related activities, including inspections, maintenance, and rent collection.

    • Prepare regular reports for ownership, outlining property performance, occupancy, and issues.

  5. Project Management

    • Lead and oversee renovation or construction projects as needed.

    • Manage timelines, vendor contracts, and budgets to ensure timely and cost- effective delivery.

Job Requirements

Required Skills s Qualifications

  • Proven experience in property management (3+ years preferred).

  • Strong understanding of building maintenance, safety, and compliance standards.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

  • Fluent in Amharic and English both written and oral.
