Place of Assignments: Based in Water Mines and Energy Bureau, Regional WASH Coordination Office, Hawassa with frequent travel to program woredas/small towns

Duties and Responsibilites:

Oversee the entire topographical survey, ensuring that all work aligns with project objectives, standards and timelines

Establish survey control points (benchmarks) and ensure that they are accurately marked, geo-referenced, and documented

Lead data collection at specified intervals, ensuring quality and accuracy of the data

Coordinate with the Civil 3D specialist to develop accurate topographical maps and alignment designs

Conduct periodic checks and verifications to ensure compliance with quality assurance plans

Job Requirements:

CD/ or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying or in a related field of study with relevant work experience

Minimum of 8/4 years of experience in topographic surveying of water supply and sanitation or Irrigation projects preferably in road or sewer alignment projects

Proficiency with surveying equipment(e.g. Total Station, GPS) and relevant software
