Our client is seeking a dedicated and organized HR Assistant to support the Human Resources department. The HR Assistant will contribute to day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, data entry, payroll preparation, and employee record maintenance. This role is key to ensuring effective HR processes that support the company's mission and culture.
• Recruitment Support
o Assist in recruitment processes by scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communications.
o Support the preparation of recruitment-related documentation.
• Employee Record Maintenance
o Prepare and maintain employee files and HR documents, both physical and electronic.
o Ensure data accuracy in the HR information system and ERP platform.
• Onboarding
o Support the onboarding process for new employees, providing relevant information and materials.
o Assist in organizing orientation sessions and follow-ups.
• HR Administration
o Help administer HR policies and procedures.
o Prepare HR-related letters and documents as directed.
• Payroll & Benefits
o Assist with payroll preparation and benefits processing as needed.
o Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely payroll completion.
• HR Events & Communication
o Support the organization of HR events, trainings, and internal communications.
o Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in HR or administrative roles.
• Experience using ERP systems for HR processes is mandatory.
Skills & Competencies:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Collaborative approach with a proactive mindset.
Salary: Gross salary of ETB 17,000 per month.
