Job Description
MAG International Business Group is a diversified business conglomerate currently undergoing a strategic transformation from a traditional family-owned enterprise into a modern, structured, and growth-driven corporate entity. With operations spanning construction, real estate, import-export, and manufacturing, the company is entering a new phase of institutionalization and market expansion. To support this trajectory, MAG is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to lead financial strategy, ensure robust financial management, optimize capital structures, and align financial operations with corporate objectives. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team and a strategic advisor to the CEO.

Financial Leadership & Strategic Planning
Develop and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with MAG’s transformation and growth objectives.
Advise the CEO and board on investment planning, financial forecasting, and capital structuring to support organizational growth.
Drive alignment between financial planning and corporate priorities.
Financial Management & Capital Optimization
Lead corporate financing initiatives, including debt/equity financing, working capital management, and investment planning.
Manage banking and investor relationships to secure funding for current and future business initiatives.
Optimize the company’s capital structure for efficiency and sustainability.
Budgeting & Performance Management
Oversee the annual budgeting process, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and alignment with business goals.
Analyze and report variances, provide insights, and recommend corrective actions.
Drive performance management and cost control across all business units.
Financial Controls, Governance & Compliance
Establish and maintain a strong internal control environment and enforce financial policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and reporting standards.
Lead audit preparation and ensure transparency in financial operations.
Financial Analysis & Decision Support
Deliver insightful financial analyses, forecasts, and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
Contribute to product pricing, profitability analysis, and feasibility studies.
Support scenario analysis and risk modeling for key projects and new ventures.
Organizational Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing finance team; mentor and develop staff for succession and continuity.
Champion a performance-driven, accountable, and ethical financial culture.
Partner with other departments to ensure financial alignment with operational activities.
Skills Requirements
The ideal candidate will demonstrate financial acumen, strategic insight, and leadership in dynamic, multi-sector business environments. Key competencies include:

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems, and business intelligence tools.

Candidates most likely to succeed in this role typically possess:
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or MBA preferred).
A minimum of 5 years of senior-level financial management experience, preferably in diversified or growth-stage companies.
Demonstrated experience in capital management, financial restructuring, and risk management.
Exposure to technology-based, asset-intensive, or multi-sector operations is highly desirable.
Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
