Purpose of the post
The Logistics intern role’s purpose and engagement are:
•Purpose: The Logistics Intern position is part of the MdM-GE internship program policy and implementation exercise that promotes and offers recent graduates a meaningful work experience that would enhance their knowledge, skills, attitudes and employability. By so doing, MdM-GE Ethiopia also gains from the introduction of fresh talent and new perspectives to a specific sector projects or team.
•Engagement: The intern will engage with logistics staff based in Coordination office and at field levels with the field logistics teams.

The Logistics Intern will be based in MDM Ge Addis Ababa office, under the direct supervision of the Logistics Coordinator.
The intern is expected to execute and delivery the following activities:
Support Procurement in terms of the following:
Bid document compilation, deliver to suppliers follow and make ensure bid document collected
And responder suppliers name, company name, collection dated and bid document responding
Date appropriately registered and signed by bidder registered on the provided form. Keep record.
Handling of mini store at coordination office.
Follow contract agreement which need to be tracked at central coordination level
Handle the small value procurement activities which are expected to be carried out at coordination office level .
Follow, ensure and compile logistics monthly report to be submitted on the given report schedules.
Perform other duties as assigned by Logistics coordinator and team
Expected profile
Graduate bachelor’s degree in procurement and supplies chain management , have graduated within the past two years.
Have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records minimum GPA required 3.5
Must be above 18 years of age.

Great attention to detail and a flexible approach to work.
High professional and ethical standards.
Structured and process oriented.
Motivated to learn and perform and not afraid to ask questions.
Excellent communicator and comfortable to work in a team environment.
Knowledge and skill of MS Office Suite is mandatory.
Fluency (written and spoken) in English is required.
Genuine interest in and commitment to the opportunity, the mission and principles of MdM-GE
Excellent interpersonal skills.
