Job Description
Nunhems Ethiopia PLC is now looking to contract a qualified and result oriented Trial Technician on a consultancy agreement base to organize and execute local trials of different commercial vegetable crops based on guidance from Local and Regional Specialists. The ideal candidate will collaborate on trial planning, ensure effective trial management, and communicate results clearly.

Report to the Regional Head of PD EMEA
Trial Execution: Organize, set up, and execute trials as defined by Local and Regional Specialists, ensuring adherence to the local trial plan.
Data Collection: Collect trait data and capture market and competitor information to inform trial outcomes.
Communication: Update stakeholders on trial advancements and report relevant information regularly.
Coordination: Organize trial agreements and manage temporary staff to support trial activities.
Crop Management: Ensure trial representativeness, manage crops throughout their cycle, and facilitate proper selection and evaluation processes.
Market Alignment: Use market insights and data analysis to propose solutions that meet local needs, in collaboration with Local and Regional Specialist.
Product Development Support: Contribute to Basic and Advanced product development trials.
Sales Support: Provide technical support to the sales team, offering growing advice, variety information, and assistance with demand creation.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
BSc/MSc.in Agriculture or Horticulture or another related field.
With a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
We seek to hire agronomists with experience in similar positions and the ability to travel throughout Ethiopia.
Valid Driving license is required.
