Job Description

The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for improving sales productivity and supporting revenue growth through the development and optimization of sales processes, systems, reporting, and performance management. This role acts as a strategic partner to the sales leadership team, providing data-driven insights, ensuring operational excellence, and aligning sales tools and resources to business goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple duty-free retail shops across various locations

  • Oversee sales processes, systems, and performance tracking across all retail outlets

  • Directly manage shop supervisors and lead the entire sales operations team

  • Enhance sales team performance through tools, training, and enablement programs

  • Drive revenue growth and profit maximization for all shops

  • Standardize procedures and promote operational excellence

  • Collaborate with Category Management (CATMAN), Marketing, and Logistics teams to ensure flawless customer shop experiences

  • Work with Finance to align sales strategies, inventory management, and budget planning

  • Foster a positive team culture and drive employee job satisfaction

  • Lead customer-centric initiatives to improve service, experience, and loyalty

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide senior leadership with insights on regional sales health

  • Support shop renovations and new store openings

  • Serve as a member of the Executive Management Team

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or in a related field of study

  • Expereince: Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Operations

  • Background in retail business, preferably airport or duty-free retail

  • Experience managing multiple units or locations

  • Proven ability to drive sales growth and operational improvements

Required Skills:

  • Skilled in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Playbooks

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in training, performance coaching, and project management

  • Results-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment

  • Excellent team player with strong communication and administrative skills

  • Proficient in POS systems, sales reporting tools, Microsoft Excel, or similar data platforms

  • Passionate about customer experience, operational excellence, and team success
