Job Description
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing general accounting operations, ensuring financial records are accurate and comply with laws and regulations. The role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
BA Degree in Accounting from a recognized college or university.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
