About the role:
The Human Resource Manager is responsible for planning, staffing, coordinating and controlling the staff of SINTEC-ETHIOPIA PLC. He/she is expected to properly organizing and managing the human resource as well as the personnel records. He/she is also participating in human resource development/training, institutional/organizational development, work plan and resource scheduling, performance review and evaluation of employees. The HRM Manager ensures the safe and proper maintenance of records, documents etc., and enhances the overall human power administration of the Company.
Plans, organizes and coordinates the overall human resource management of SINTEC-ETHIOPIA PLC;
Sets human resource strategy to ensure accomplishment of mission, vision, objectives and core values of the Company;
Conducts organizational development analysis, revision of organizational structure and job analysis in cooperation with the appropriate service/department to meet the dynamic needs of expanding programs and team development;
Sets up HRM Manual including personnel transfer, promotion, salary increase, working conditions, discipline, and various leave entitlements;
Devises effective and efficient recruitment and selection process which will enable the Company to achieve operational and strategic needs;
Coordinates staffing, training, salary administration and motivation functions;
Designs and develops a reward structure which supports the achievement of the organization’s objectives within available resources;
Administers staff entitlements which include allowances, benefits, incentives, annual leave, overall compensation and other relational returns;
Controls activities related to recruitment, personnel records, wages and salary, and other administration works;
Develops discipline and grievance procedures in line with the HR Policy Manual of the Organization and ensures proper implementation at each level;
Ensures the proper application and implementation of employee services, labour relations and employee records;
Devises strategic human resource management that transforms the conventional system, strategy and structure;
Prepares human resource plan to maintain sustainable supply of human-power and meets staffing needs;
Conducts training and development needs assessment of the Company and design appropriate training and development plan/programs to ensure continued skill and knowledge enhancement of team members;
Maintains appropriate insurance coverage to protect SINTEC-ETHIOPIA PLC;
Arranges and follows up the provident fund of the employees and manages the proper application of the collection, custody and utilization of the fund;
Designs and implements output based and/or result oriented Performance Management System;
Ensures the timely submission and review of performance evaluation;
Ensures the presence of updated HRM database system and documentation to ensure effective administration of all employment and staffing processes and to provide appropriate information for managerial decision making;
Ensures that document and records of the Company are well kept in custody;
Regularly assess HR related policy and procedure gaps and provide updated information;
Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports on regular bases, and
Performs other related functions as required.
Candidate requirements:
Education – Degree/MBA in Management or other related field of study
Work Experience – At least eight years of relevant experience for MBA/ ten years of experience for degree
