Business Development & Growth Manager
The Business Development and Growth Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding the company's market presence, and driving revenue growth. This role involves building strategic partnerships, exploring new markets, and developing innovative initiatives to enhance the company’s competitive position within the delivery industry.
Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate new market segments, regions, and customer segments for potential growth opportunities.
Partnership Development: Build and nurture strategic alliances, collaborations, and vendor relationships to expand service offerings and market reach.
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and secure key accounts, ensuring sustainable revenue streams.
Sales Strategy & Support: Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored proposals, pitches, and negotiations to close new business deals.
Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic planning and positioning.
Innovative Initiatives: Propose and pilot new services, delivery models, or technology integrations to stay ahead of market demands.
Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Market Research & Insights: Gather data on customer preferences, pricing strategies, and industry developments to guide growth initiatives.
Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs related to business development activities, pipeline growth, and revenue targets; track progress and adjust strategies accordingly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure alignment of growth initiatives with overall business objectives.

Bachelor’s degree and/or Masters in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field;
Proven experience in business development, sales, or strategic planning within logistics, delivery, or related sectors.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable plans.
Demonstrated success in achieving revenue growth and expanding market share.
Experience with digital platforms, delivery technology, or supply chain solutions.
Familiarity with local/regional markets and customer behaviors.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation and growth.
Languages
Fluency in spoken and written English and Amharic.
Speaking and writing local language is plus
